Game Synopsis:
Civil War is once again coming to Sniperzden in St. Paul, Oregon. WAFOR finally broke the losing streak and their command team is returning again to hold onto the title.
Each year we make slight modifications to game play, and this year's primary focus will be about in field sustainment. To that end, we ask everyone signing up to be aware and be prepared for being out in the field for the duration of the event. We will continue to have an intermission break, but this will be conducted at your FOB (in-field starting area). The intent behind this is to get the team(s) to have an opportunity to coordinate changes between Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the main event. This will also ensure we have game play start back up on time.
So bring enough ammunition, water, food, batteries / air / gas necessary to keep you in the field. HPA users should show up to the field with a full tank.
Review the game map, all capturable strategic positions now share the same point value - yes even the log fort (Capitol) in the center. This means the central focus does not have to be on this point and opens up the value of other positions more so. It also ensures that morale can be maintained and an opportunity to recover is possible.
IMPORTANT! Friday night will include several scenarios which count toward the main event score. Plan to participate in that and represent your side accordingly.
Main Operation includes the following:
-
Team structure with leadership, orders and assignments (coordination on Discord).
-
Four (4) primary strategic waypoints to capture (see map above).
-
Team commander capture (HVT).
-
Airdrops (high-vis ammo cans) around AO.
-
Securing ammo caches / safely relocating them.
-
Confirmed Kill:
-
Secure chip from downed player, return to team commander for points.
-
WASHINGTON SPAWN:
Located at the NW side of the game map, this is the primary respawn area for Washington. (See Map)
OREGON SPAWN:
Located S-SW of the game map, this is the primary respawn area for Oregon. This is along the road. (See Map)
Campaign Patch:
Introducing "Campaign Patches," which are 1x1. War Sport NW is introducing a recognition system, starting with "Siege," for players who participate at our events going forward. Upon receiving 5 single patches (as shown in the knife version below) you will then be able to turn those 5 in and receive the ammunition belt to denote your 5 events with WSNW. These are included as part of the event costs and may not be purchased individually.
